Fishing - Art was founded by Richard McEvoy, and is a subsidiary of Richard McEvoy Fine Art. A masters graduate, Richard McEvoy worked for a major auction house for many years and has since then been dealing in a private capacity for the last ten years, specializing in the finest quality British sporting paintings.

He is pleased to have handled the majority of the finest examples of fishing art that have appeared on the international art market during those years and is delighted to have had the opportunity of sourcing original piscatorial works of art for museums, collections, galleries, private clients and angling enthusiasts.

A keen fisherman, he has given numerous talks on the art market in general and in particular on the subject of 'fishing art' to various piscatorial groups and societies.He is currently writing a book on the depiction of salmon and trout in British art.
