Got to love fishing out of a place called Royal Amazon. Got to love fishing for peacock bass, as close to the king of fly-rod fish as
you’ll find.

And the river, the
AGua Boa: clear as gin, and we’re
getting them all sight-fishing.

Lots of fish, and big ones, too. Lots
of jungle, lots of wildlife, lots
of that intangible otherness
that draws us to a place like
this, looking for what we can
find only in the few remaining places that still are like this.
