Steelhead running up small clear streams, porkers from Lake Erie come home to spawn. Sight-fishing egg flies with tight short lines. Autumn through April.
Eight-inchers planted in headwater streams, a migration to the lake to feed and feed. Then they come back here, into the little creeks along the Pennsylvania shore. Still hungry, still feeding. Autumn through April. Year after year. |
