Contented purrs and beckoning clucks bring Big Tom in for a cautious look. But when he sees little Jake,
you can almost hear him say, “Hey, kid, what’re you lookin’ at?”

The result of this marriage of woodcraft and psychology: a fan for the wall, feathers for the fly-tying bench,
and one fine meal from the pinewoods of the coastal Georgia plains.
